The scene is set in an office. Grethe wakes up after a nightmare. She had dreamed of mysterious creatures and heard voices.
They hissed at her, "Greeeethe! If you don't get married today, Grethe, you'll never get married!"
She wakes up scared and screams. Mette, her colleague, tries to calm Grethe down.
Grethe gets calm. Although she knows what she must do before the day ends.
In Love Without Socks a drama about hope, love, status and socks unfolds... because what could love be without socks?
The play is performed in Danish.
The performance is based on Johan Herman Wessel's work "Kierlighed uden Strømper" from 1772.
